Part 2:
Is there any way one can increase the odds in one’s favor?
Despite the prominent role luck plays in the game of bingo there are ways in which a player might tip the scales in his/her favor. The following tips might help.
*Avoid Crowded Rooms: This should be obvious enough if one parts from the premise that, mathematically speaking, the more cards that there are in play the slimmer the chances of winning per card. This should influence the odd enough in favor of the player; how high the odds go is directly related to how empty the bingo room is. One downside to this strategy is that emptier rooms usually equal smaller jackpots and considerably less excitement. After all, the allure of bingo is not necessarily that of making money, but that of enjoying the game and getting some winnings as an added bonus!
*The more cards you play the better: It’s quite simple. The more cards one player has, the more chances he/she has of hitting the coveted jackpot. Imagine the odds of winning as a big apple pie. Now imagine that each player in a bingo room is taking a portion of this delicious pie symbolized by the bingo card. Since one of these pieces of pie has a prize hidden inside, the more pieces of pie, the higher one’s chances of getting the prize.
